Mr. Ankit Kawatra is the founder of Zomato Feeding India, one of India’s largest nonprofits solving hunger and food waste. Feeding India works to rescue surplus food and also serve freshly prepared food with 26,000+ volunteers, logistics across 185 cities and has served 100+ million meals to people in need.

Ankit started Feeding India after quitting his corporate job, post witnessing massive food wastage in an Indian wedding in 2014. He is the winner of several prestigious awards including - the Queen's Young Leader Award from HM Queen London, United Nations Young Leader for SDGs, Forbes 30 under 30 Honouree, National Youth Award India, GQ 50 Most Influential Indians, Most Innovative Give Back Award - Prince of Bahrain and TED India speaker among others.

Ankit serves as a key spokesperson on issues of food security (SDG2), societal inequality and social entrepreneurship on several national and international platforms such as UNGA, UN FAO CFS, CoP and is also a board of advisor for the Eat Foundation Stockholm.
