Zone President and MD and CEO, Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd
Anil Chaudhry is a senior industry leader with over four decades of rich experience spanning across energy, infrastructure, digital, automation & other domains. He was appointed as the MD & CEO of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd (SEIPL) & Zone President, Greater India, to lead the merger of Schneider Electric India’s Low Voltage and Industrial Automation product business with Larsen & Toubro’s Electrical and Automation business. Previously, he was the MD and Country President of Schneider Electric India, a role he took over in 2013. Prior to this, he was the Senior Vice President, Global Sales Organization, Infrastructure Business, and a member of Leadership Team in Paris.
Anil champions the usage & adoption of energy efficient and green technologies. He has done substantial amount of work, promoting French business interests worldwide with a focus on infrastructure development, sustainability & climate change, access to energy and skill development. He is determined to set new benchmarks for the usage of innovative techniques providing world class solutions & services to customers In July 2015, Anil was conferred the highest French civilian distinction – Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honour) by President of Republic of France recognizing his significant contributions towards strengthening Indo-French economic relations. Anil is extremely passionate about promoting diversity & inclusion. He is also member of Women Advisory Board at Schneider Electric.
He has published and presented numerous technical and concept papers at various national and international seminars for application of digital technology, automation & IoT for energy management and efficiency for smart infrastructure and smart cities to tackle climate and sustainability challenges Anil is an engineering graduate from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He further pursued Executive Management Programs from Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School and INSEAD.
