Arun Biswas

Arun leads the Asia-Pacific strategic sales team, which is responsible for developing strategic partnerships and transformational engagements with key clients. These partnerships are aimed at delivering business outcomes through the implementation of market making business platforms and intelligent workflows enabled by Hybrid Cloud, Data & AI. Arun also leads the Asia-Pacific Sustainability (ESG) practice that provides a range services and solutions aimed at helping our clients  not only achieve their ESG goals but reimagine their business and operating models to become high performing sustainable enterprises.

Arun specializes in technology enabled Enterprise Transformation. He acts as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and helps them define and implement their digital transformation and sustainability journeys. Arun’s core expertise is in bridging the divide between digital strategy and execution to rapidly realize business value.

For over two decades, Arun has led large and complex IT enabled business transformation programs in leading national, regional and multi-national institutions in Asia Pacific. More recently, Arun has led highly innovative and first-of-kind digital projects that involved the deployment and adoption of new and emerging technologies such as AI, Hybrid Cloud, IoT and Blockchain. Arun has also led engagements in the areas of Sustainable Banking, Clean Energy, Sustainable Supply Chains and Sustainable Infrastructure & Operations.

Arun started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was involved several IT and business transformation programs. Since joining IBM in 2003, Arun has held multiple senior executive roles including Managing Partner, IBM Services Singapore and Managing Partner, IBM Financial Services Sector ASEAN.
