Naveen Soni

Mr. Naveen Soni is Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Branch) & MBA. He began his career in 1992 with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (Indian Utility Vehicle Manufacturer) and worked in various areas of Marketing & Sales, including Overseas Markets (South East Asia). In 2001, he joined the Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, as Regional Manager for West Region (posted at Mumbai) and continued in that position till 2005. In 2005 to 2010 he spearheaded the rapid expansion of Toyota Dealer Network to facilitate the launch of the Toyota Etios & Liva. In 2010 he was posted to Toyota’s regional headquarters in Singapore where he was responsible for the business development of Singapore and Philippines. He was posted in Singapore till 2013. In 2013 he came back to India to head the Toyota Training Initiative (Toyota Institute) and in 2014 was moved to be the Vice President of External Affairs & CSR. From 2015 Public Affairs responsibilities of the company was added to his portfolio. Mr Soni has been the Co-chair of the environment and sustainability panel of CII Karnataka for 2014-15 and 2015-16. He is also the chairperson of the CSR Panel of SIAM from 2014-15 until now He is the elected member of CII Southern Regional Council from 2 years and he is currently holding the chair position for environment and sustainability panel for Southern Region. He was the past chairman of SIAM SAFE council and got recognitions as the thought leader in CSR by Cause Because Magazine, South India’s best CSR leader from World CSR Forumn and Global CSR Excellence and leadership award. From this year(2022) beginning he is responsible for Lexus Business as President. Born in Jaipur, India, in 1966, Mr Naveen Soni enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends. He is married to Mrs Sumita and has a daughter (Ruhi) & son (Ansh).
