Saransh Bajpai is the Associate Director for the Climate Program at World Resources Institute India. Here, he works with a focus to advance sub-national climate action work in India. 

Prior to joining World Resources Institute, he worked as an expert consultant with Climate Resilience Practice at WRI India to formulate the revised version of Madhya Pradesh State Action Plan on Climate Change. He has also worked for almost nine years with the Department of Environment, Government of Madhya Pradesh as Subject Expert (Climate Change) and handled multi-dimensional assignments focusing on climate science, policy and actions. 

He holds a master’s in development and Environment Management from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and a bachelor’s in Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh. 

In his free time, he loves to read biographies, books on global politics and Indian mythology. He also loves to drive and explore new places.
