Dr. Vedpriya Arya is currently leading Patanjali Herbal Research Department at Patanjali Research Institute as Research Coordinator under the divine guidance of Revered Acharya Balkrishna Ji. Having post-graduated in Bioscience with Gold-medal, she had completed her Ph.D. in Genetics from M.D. University, Rohtak in 2011. She has attended more than 25 national and international conferences on several advanced scientific and sustainable methods to study plants like Molecular biology, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Ethnopharmacology, etc. She has published around 70 articles having a total of 1,136 citations on Google scholar along with 16 h-index and i10-index scores.
Her dynamic approach and diversified experience in scientific study, analysis, and publication of evidence-based knowledge about medicinal plants have led to the successful accomplishment of around 16 projects. She actively organizes different workshops, conferences, and training programs for the education and development of plant-based sciences to promote herbal medicines. Around 300 research articles, 15 national, and 5 international books have been published under her leadership on diverse research topics through advanced approaches. She aims to integrate statistical and technological methods with plant sciences to conduct meticulous analytical research in the field of plant-based medicines.
