Born in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala State in 1965 and has obtained Post graduate  degree in GEOLOGY from Kerala University in 1987. Joined as Scientist in Chennai Region Office of CGWB in 1995 and has also worked at Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore Region Offices of CGWB. Later on was Promoted to Regional Director in CGWB. Has Officiated as Member CGWA at Delhi and as member(HQ) in CHQ Faridabad.  she is Presently Officiating as Member (South) at CGWB, HQ, Faridabad. Has around 28 years’ experience as Hydrogeologist and associated with studies related to Ground water exploration, Survey, Assessment and Management. Has authored and co authored a number of Papers related to ground water studies and participated in national and international seminars and symposium in water sector. Is a permanent member of Journal Geological Society of India.
